Rping Rules

These rules are to be followed by everyone including admins and moderators. Failure to do so will result in suspension of the rp or whatever an admin deems fair for your actions.

1. When posting you are to type in third person, first person is not allowed, so no I's or me's keep yourself out of it.
   
   
2. Godmodding isn't allowed your character isn't invincible and he/she wont be able to know how to react to every situation.
   
   
3. Force-playing isn't allowed to control another character, you can't say your attack was succesful you need to let your fellow Rper choose if he/she wants to get hit or not. You are only allowed to force-play if the person lets you.
   
   
4. Meta-gaming isn't permitted if you here something or read something about a person's character i.e. you read a technique they had and when you faced them in rp your character knew the strengths and weaknesses of that technique. Your not allowed to do that your character must learn about another character in rp only.
   
   
5. Power-playing wont be allowed so dont try to make an OP character, technique, weapon, etc. it wont get approved.
   
   
6. No double posting there is an edit button for a reason theres no need for another post when you could easily add it to your old post.
   
   
7. when Rping use qoutation marks when your character is speaking i.e. " It was a beautiful day out just a few minutes ago but now it's pouring rain and I have to stay at home." Jack let a big sigh seeing his day ruined by the weather.
   
   
8. Put anything that your character is thinking in itallics i.e. "Basketball practice was really tiring today I can't believe coach made us do so many suicides."Opening the door to his house and then closing it when he entered taking a deep breath of relief.. "Mom I'm home!" Bobby announced heading into the kitchen.
   
   
9. When RPing use proper spelling and grammar we're not looking for perfection but your post should be readable.
   
   
10. When you post it must be atleast five lines long going across the screen.
    
    
11. Your character can only join things they know about or has a reason for knowing (i.e. your character heard an explosion and descided to check it out). So a person can't just pop out of nowhere and say they know everything that is happening. This also goes for those who get PMs to help someone in a fight, if your getting your ass handed to you dont go PM someone that has no reason to be there. In my point of view I see this as cowardly, if you weren't ready to get in a fight on your own then maybe you shouldn't been in places or done something you shouldn't have been or doing.

These do not to be posted in any particular order.

1. Explain why you are there. One of the most irritating things is a person being at a place for the behalf of just being there, having no real reason on why they're there. So make up a reason for why you're are there even if it is a bit absurd.
   
   
2. Grammar/Spelling. Okay this should be a given but just for those people who butcher the English language, USE PROPER SPELLING AND PUNCTIATION!!! It doesn't have to perfect but when something can't even be read by others theres a problem. So try to use proper grammar.
   
   
3. Thoughts on the current location you're in. Describe your character's opinion of the location he/she is in. If it's hot describe how your character is feeling about the heat, does he/she like it, hate it?
   
   
4. Describe background. This is so everyone can have a sense for the area, allowing you and others to touch back on to keep consistency. Remember these descriptions shouldn't be plain like the sun is in the sky and theres grass. Make an effort when describing the terrain.
   
   
5. Describe Appearence. Describe what your character is wearing or not wearing O.o this allows others to look back at your description and describe you as good as your description was. This helps people improve their posts and more people will want to RP with you. You know they say a picture is worth a thousand words so be as detailed to create that picture of your character.
   
   
6. Interract with enviroment/do something. This doesn't mean you have to talk or anything unless theres an NPC or your replying to someone but you are able to walk, jump, crawl etc. Usually theres no problem in this aspect but when doing something put some detail in it. Use a thesaurus and dictionary it shows intelligence and we like that.
   
   
7. Describe the time and weather. Is it daytime or nightime? Cold or hot? Is the sky clear or really cloudy? All these things should be kept in mind and should be put into your post. It gives the setting more life and it's more enjoyable, it's annoying not knowing what the weather is.
